The Network of Volunteer Centres in Scotland exist to help people to volunteer to make Scotland a better place to live.
Volunteer Centres make it easier for people to volunteer and they aim to:-
- Dismantle the barriers to volunteering and close the opportunity gap
- Improve the volunteer experience
- Increase the number of people involved in volunteering
- Broaden the range of people in volunteering
- Encourage young people to volunteer
- Get volunteering better recognised at policy level
