Volunteer Development Scotland

As Scotlands Centre for Excellence in Volunteering our approach to modernising volunteering is built on three areas;

  • Providing leadership which enables others to identify ways in which volunteering contributes towards outcomes
  • Improving the quality of the volunteering experience by enhancing the practice of volunteers management
  • Sharing evidence that informs modern volunteering policy and practice

People Making Waves

People Making Waves is a four year programme that seeks to connect the people of Scotland with the London 2012 Olympics and Paralympic Games through volunteering. Volunteer Development Scotland will deliver the programme in partnership with a number of partners including Voluntary Arts Scotland and Greater London Volunteering.
