Volunteers' Week 2009

Volunteers' Week (1-7 June) is the UK's annual celebration of the work volunteers do. It plays a huge part in raising the the profile of volunteers across the UK. In 2009 Volunteers' Week celebrates its 25th anniversary year.

During Volunteers' Week events are held across Scotland and the UK, to recognise, reward and recruit volunteers to  publicly thank volunteers and highlight their contribution to local communities.

At the same time individuals are encouraged to to find out  more about volunteering.

It's up to you and your organisation to decide how you want to join in the celebration

The Volunteers Week website is currently offering the new logo, posters, certificates and flyers for 2009. A simple and free registration process provides you with access to these. Branded merchandise will be available soon from the website from mid-April 2009.
