Volunteer Development Scotland

Volunteer Development Scotland
has developed many programmes and tools to improve ways of working with volunteers. As a Centre for Excellence we have researched the way volunteering works across Scotland and have produced best practice guides for those working with volunteers to help improve the volunteering experience for everyone.

We also have award schemes which both recognise the work volunteering organisations do and also puts a structure in place within an organisation to help develop their volunteer process and management. We also have available the Volunteering Toolkit - A practical guide for assessing the impact of volunteering on your organisation.
