Routes into learning and skills development
Accredited and non-accredited learning for those working with Volunteers.
Volunteer Development Scotland is committed to providing
training and learning opportunities for volunteer supporters, coordinators and managers.
We offer a wide range of informal and formal accredited learning opportunities. And we also offer programmes which are tailored for your particular needs for the management and coordination of volunteers.
We aim to provide learning for individuals to develop their skills, knowledge and understanding of managing and coordinating volunteers and to enable organisations to develop good practice for volunteering programmes.
All our learning opportunities are aligned with the National Occupational Standards for the Management of Volunteers and the Investing in Volunteers quality standard. Volunteer Development Scotland is an accredited SQA centre and a learndirect Scotland branded learning centre.
As a learner with us you may be able to access an Individual Learning Account to help cover the costs of your learning. Ask us for further information.
