Opportunities for Learning

A wide range of Learning Opportunities have been developed to help you to improve your practice in coordinating and managing volunteers in your organisation. Our learning opportunities will enable you to develop your knowledge and skills, gain qualifications and take new ideas back into your organisation. The learning opportunities may be useful for both individuals who wish to develop their practice and for organisation staff and volunteers working towards the Investing in Volunteers quality standard.

Leaning opportunities, accredited and non accredited, are available at Introductory, Intermediate and Advanced levels and may be delivered by Volunteer Development Scotland, by a Volunteer Centre or by a VDS Associate Trainer.

All Volunteer Development Scotland Learning Opportunities are aligned to quality standards in the National Occupational Standards on Managing Volunteers and Investing in Volunteers.
