Volunteering Management is aimed at individuals who currently manage volunteering or who seek advancement into more strategic roles. It will equip them with theoretical knowledge and understanding of the wider aspects of managing volunteering.
Candidates undertake all three units:
- Policy and Practice - 24th & 25th November 2009
- Evaluating and Improving Professional Practice
- Leadership and Management
Entry to this Professional Development Award will be a minimum of experience in a leadership or management role, with a qualification at SQCF level 7. (HNC, Advanced Higher or Certificate of Higher Education).
The cost for the award for 2009 / 2010 is:
VDS Members: £1,200 and Non-members: £1,300
Another option is to undertake the PDA as single units - you do not need to sign up to do the full award.
Cost of single units will be:
VDS Members £425.00 and Non-members £475.00
If you complete three single units over a 2 - 3 year period and then want to have accreditation for the full award there will be an additional SQA admin fee.
