Volunteering Management is aimed at individuals who currently manage volunteering or who seek advancement into more strategic roles. It will equip them with theoretical knowledge and understanding of the wider aspects of managing volunteering.
Candidates undertake all three units:
- Policy and Practice in Volunteering
- Evaluating and Improving Professional Practice in Volunteering
- Leadership and Management in Volunteering
Entry to this Professional Development Award will be a minimum of experience in a leadership or management role or a qualification at SQCF level 7. (HNC, Advanced Higher or Certificate of Higher Education).
The cost for the award is:
VDS Members: £1,200 and Non-members: £1,320
Another option is to undertake the PDA topics as single units - you may choose to study on any of the three units.
Cost of single units
VDS Members £430.00 and Non-members £475.00
If you complete three single units over a 2 year period and then want to gain accreditation for the full award there will be an additional fee of £50.00 for your SQA registration for the award.
